Vote!
As a registered voter you may vote in one of the following ways:
Mail-in Ballot.
Early Voting.
At the Polls on Election Day.
Questions.
Mail-in Ballot
As an alternative to voting at the polls or at an early voting site, you may request to vote by Mail-in ballot. It will be mailed to your house about 20 days before the election to allow you time to study the ballot and mark your choices. When you are ready, fill it out, follow the directions and mail it back to the address on the return envelope. You can also drop it off at the sites listed on the www.ArapahoeVotes.com Website
You can request a Mail-in ballot application just for the November election or on a permanent basis.
- All mail-in ballot must be received at the Arapahoe County Clerk & Recorder's office or the designated Locations by 7 p.m. Election Day. Ballots received after 7 p.m. will not be counted. Postmarks do not apply.
- If you request and receive a Mail-in Ballot, then decide you want to vote at the polls instead, you must vote using a provisional ballot.
- If you do not receive the ballot or if you spoil/damage it, you may request a replacement by calling the Arapahoe Clerk and Recorder's office, 303-795-4511.
Early Voting
Early voting runs from Monday, October 17 to Friday, October 28 at the locations listed on www.ArapahoeVotes.com Website
Bring a valid ID as Colorado Law requires registered voters show a valid ID to vote.
You will cast your ballot using a touch screen electronic voting machine. Each machine will also record your vote on a paper trail and are adapted to meet the needs of the handicapped.
Once you have voted, either through early voting or by Mail-in ballot, your vote is cast and is final.
* Tip! Before voting, write your choices on a sample ballot or note card so you won't spend a lot of time in the voting booth.
At the Polls on Election Day
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
You must vote in the precinct in which you live. Use the polling place locator on www.ArapahoeVotes.com Website to find your precinct and polling place.
You must also bring a valid ID to vote.
If you have moved and not updated your voter registration, contact the election office, 303-795-4511.
